China Internet Association issued ‘Internet Guide: 2007 China Internet Survey Report’ this morning. According to the relative market share data released on the 10th , 19.60% of portal users use Sina and the relative market share of Netease and Tencent are 18.11% and 16.95% respectively. According to data from the Internet Association, the first portal website Sina enjoys a very stable position and Sohu has dropped the first three.
Report data also shows the ranking of portal users annual arrival rate. Sina ,Netease and Tencent also ranked the first three. Sina ranks first in the proportion of 55.53%, Netease and Tencent rank second and third in the proportion of 51.31% and 48.02% respectively. While another portal Sohu never has access to the first three.
Hu Yanping, the Internet Association survey task group leader, said that users’ annual arrival rate is not a comprehensive website rankings, but it is a very important indicator of website value. It reflects the Internet's "popularity". The higher the rate is, the more users use your service.
According to blog users annual arrival rate, the proportion of Sina is far ahead which is 32.86% followed by Qzone, MSN with 19.28% and 15.8% respectively. HuYanping said that mainstream Internet companies are realizing transformation to Web2.0 service structure.
HuYanping said that medium is still the main form of China's Internet development in the coming years. Sina's brand recognition and service enjoy great advantage. Its advantage in blog is more obvious. And other competitors can not pose a challenge in a short period of time.
