HK shares end at 2-1/2-wk low, China Life tumbles

Hong Kong blue chips fell 1.7 percent and China plays declined 3.2 percent on Wednesday as sharply lower Asian markets spurred more profit-taking in the recent high-flying telecoms and mainland financial issues.
