COSCO Corp Singapore Ltd, a ship-repair and bulk-carrier unit of China's biggest shipping company, said annual profit rose 35 percent to a record, helped by increased orders to build and modify vessels. Net income climbed to S$205.4 million (US$134 million), or 9.27 cents a share, last year, from S$160.5 million, or 7.33 cents a share, a year earlier, Cosco Singapore said yesterday in a statement to the Singapore Exchange. Sales jumped 39 percent to S$1.2 billion.
