CHENGDU, Feb. 15 -- Six people were killed and anther five were injured in a vehicle bumping accident at the wee hour Thursday, according to sources with the emergency management office of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan province.

Three vehicles bumped into each other at 0:10 Thursday at the No. 108 national highway which passes through Chengdu city.

All the injured were sent to hospital and investigation into the accident cause is underway.
