HEFEI, Feb. 27 -- Six people, including a five-year old child, were killed in a truck crash Monday on an expressway in east China's Anhui Province, police said Tuesday.
The accident occurred in early hours Monday morning when a trailer truck lost control, crashed into the guardrail and fell off a 20-meter bridge at the Dingyuan Section of the expressway linking the provincial capital Hefei and a major industrial city Xuzhou in the province.
According to the police, the six persons in the truck were killed on the spot.
Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
