Two large-scale solar photovoltaic boards were installed recently in Wuxi in east China's Jiangsu Province.

With a total area of 6,900 square meters, the two electricity-generating boards are expected to produce a total of 700,000 kilowatt hours of electricity each year, a Xinhua report said.

The solar generators were developed by a local company, and will be widely adopted if the test succeeds.
