Chinese actress and director Xu Jinglei shot a series of photos for a well-known travel magazine in South Africa.

The magazine Voyage revealed the first glimpse of Xu's photos in its recent issue, web site qq.com reported on Tuesday.

In a previous interview, Xu Jinglei told reporters that she would write a book about her trip in South Africa.

Xu, known as China's most intellectual actress, is also an editor-in-chief. She runs an e-magazine named "Kai La". Her attempts in different areas have always been the hot topics among fans. Now, they are looking forward to reading Xu's new book.
