Trevor Metz
Brutally honest to the point of offending friends, loved ones, and people he just met, Trevor has never been accused of not expressing himself. His brazen in-your-face style of reporting gained him both praise and condemnation from news makers and listeners in his native Canada. In 2003 Trevor won British Columbia's highest journalism honour, the Jack Webster Award for Journalism Excellence, for his work on one of BC's most notorious murder-suicide cases. You can hear Trevor's silky dulcet tones weekdays on China's most listened to English radio talk show China Drive from 5-7pm on China Radio International. Trevor shamelessly describes his radio presentation as "chocolate for the ears". He is also a partner in one of China's premier voiceover companies "www.chinavoiceover.com".
Besides a career in radio and television, Trevor has written for several publications including the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, City Weekend Magazine, Elite Reference, and Polished Magazine. Trevor says writing for Jongo News is the perfect opportunity for him to finally "Tell it like it is!"
